Steve Barns is a patent lawyer with a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering (Ohio State University) and a J.D. (American University). Prior to founding Miller & Barns, Steve worked as Senior Intellectual Property Counsel for a Fortune 500 materials company, prior to this he was an associate in a boutique patent firm and a patent examiner in the field of electrical and optical devices at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
